Session 3- Know your Icons

This session is for non engineering students



Nagraj Manjule – A great person from a small village named Jeur, Solapur. He is a two national award winner Film director and a poet. His short film “Pistulya” won two national awards & now he is coming with his first feature film “Fandry” a must watch film.
Prassana Joshi – Being a star anchor of Leading Marathi news channel ABP Majha, he is famous for his balanced stands on various topics in the Prime Time debate show of the same. He is a passionate anchor, writer, promoter of Blogging and a hard core journalist.
Rajendra Chavan- He was the first civilian to climb none other than “The Everest”. He would be available to share his experiences.

Session 2- What we expect from future Engineers

Speakers for this session are



Dnyaneshwar Mulay- Dnyaneswhar Mulay is the Council General in Newyork. Previously, he was the High Commissioner of India in Maldives. He is the very famous IFS officer for his Collabrative work. He is also famous for his writing in Marathi, Hindi & English. His book “Mati,Pankh ani Akash” is the milestone & the source of Inspiration for many. He is regular columnist for various papers & also a social activist. He is the proud son of Kolhapur.





Balasaheb Darade – Balasaheb Darade completed his engineering from Aurangabad & Masters from America. He had won the prestigious IEEE student of the year Award in 2004. He worked as a scientist with NASA for almost 3 years. However, just before 3 years, he quit his job in America & came back to Maharashtra to bring the change. He has joined the politics & is trying his best to change the scenario. Along with being the winner of numerous awards, he has become the new youth Icon of Maharashtra.



Sanjay Bhaskar Joshi – Being always a topper in exams like ICWA, Sanjay Joshi was a corporate giant. He quit his corporate job from the very big post of “Assistant Vice President” of Idea cellular. He has a wide experience of Corporate Life. Presently, he has taken a  break & has dedicated his life for the Cultural development. He is the symbol of new age corporate life & he portrays this best in his books.
 

Session 1- Engineers in Non Engineering Field

Sudeep Nagarkar- Sudeep Nagarkar is basically an engineer from Bombay University. He had a touching love story in his engineering life which inspired him to became a writer. Presently, he is the author of two bestseller books “Few things left unsaid” & “That’s the way we met”. The 1st book was a bestseller in 2012. Now his book has reached in forever bestselling books with 20 lack & more copies sold. The Marathi version of the same has been just released.


Amrut Bang- Amrut Bang is son of Dr.Abhay Bang, a Magsaysay award winner, social activitst. Mr. Amrut has done engineering from PICT, Pune. However, as he has joined his father’s work, he started working in SEARCH, Gadchiroli. He represents the youth of India which have joined their hands for the betterment of the society. He will share his thoughts as the representative of this young Society.
 


Vasant Vasant Limaye- Vasant Limaye is alumni of IIT Bombay. He is the Managing director of High Places private Limited, a corporate training institute. He is famous for his motivational speeches & will enlighten the students with the same.
